Your tasks:
  • Development of a purchasing strategy for equipment (FF&E) and operating resources (OS&E), as well as construction management in the specific projects on site
  • Preparation of (planner) contracts, planning coordination and obtaining approvals
  • Budget planning and cost control, as well as ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are adhered to
  • Identifying potential savings by bundling volumes, framework agreements and/or alternative sources of supply
  • Researching and selecting suitable suppliers, manufacturers and service providers and negotiating contracts with them
  • Drawing up an award schedule, carrying out tenders and bid comparisons, analysing the bids
  • Compiling documentation, defect management and compliance with sustainability and environmental standards
You bring with you:
  • Completed studies or training in interior design, architecture, construction, project management, hotel management or a related field
  • Professional experience in FF&E, ideally in the hotel industry, hospitality design or high-quality interior design
  • Knowledge of furniture, materials and surfaces as well as a good sense of design, quality and functionality
  • Familiarity with tenders, budgeting and cost control in the FF&E sector and experience in working with interior designers, suppliers and general contractors
  • Confident with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Asana or comparable systems
  • Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD), ideally also with rendering tools or BIM
