Your training

Do you have a passion for flavour and good food? Our chefs love to put a smile on our guests' faces with their skills. Want to learn how? We'll show you!

During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will spend time in all of our catering departments. From the BROILER, through the buffet and a la carte restaurants to the bars and banqueting. You will also get to know our in-house patisserie. Above all, you will learn

  • preparing hot and cold dishes and creative plating
  • mise-en-place
  • Planning and calculating the use of goods
  • the proper storage and processing of food
  • proper hygiene in the kitchen

Training starts regularly on 1 August, with the standard training period being 3 years. Vocational school takes place in Rostock-Toitenwinkel, with 2 weeks of theory alternating with 4 weeks of practical training. The working hours during the practical phases are 8 hours/day plus breaks 5 days a week. We are also there for our guests at weekends and on public holidays.

If they perform well, we take on our trainees as skilled workers.
